What are Tonsil Stones?

Tonsil Stones also known as tonsilloliths. They are caused by debris and bacteria building up and getting stuck in the tonsils. The debris including mucus from post nasal drop turns putrid in the back of the throat and collects in the small pockets on the surface of the tonsils.
